Laissez-passer
You may transport a deceased from abroad to the Netherlands or from the Netherlands to abroad. You need a death certificate for this purpose.
Transport ticket for a deceased
You will need a 'laissez-passer' or 'leave for burial or combustion' for the deceased. A laissez-passer is a transport ticket. This way the deceased can be transported to another country, outside the Benelux. Upon entering the Netherlands you must show these documents to the customs authorities.
