Want to know when your waste is collected in Helmond? With DeAfvalApp, you always have your waste calendar at hand. Whether it's residual waste, paper, plastic, or organic waste (GFT), all the information is clearly presented in the app. No more hassle with paper calendars!
How does DeAfvalApp work?
DeAfvalApp gives you easy access to your waste collection calendar and other waste-related information. You can use the app in two ways: via the website or by downloading the app.
Use the website
- Go to deafvalapp.nl.
- Enter your postcode and house number.
Here you will find:
- Your personal waste collection calendar with all pickup days;
- A map with locations of glass containers, textile bins, and frying / cooking oil collection points;
- Information on how to properly separate your waste.
Download the app
Download DeAfvalApp for free from Google Play or the App Store. The app contains the same information as the website.

In DeAfvalApp, you can set reminders to get a notification on your phone. This way, you’ll never forget to put out your waste. Download the app for free from Google Play or the App Store. Do not pour used cooking oil or fat down the drain or toilet—it can cause blockages. Instead, dispose it at a yellow collection container near you.
